Dreading footy season? Having very wide distribution brings many benefits, but your product becomes hard to avoid. In categories like pro sports, this can lead to active "anti-brand communities" forming. @HunterFujak and I explain: https://t.co/0H5mx4XdGA via @ConversationEDU

The second Trilateral AI Experts Group dialogue was held in Melbourne, Australia in April 2023.
It examined the challenges of Artificial Intelligence (AI) development, security, ethics, and interoperability in an Australian context.
Australia is often a "taker" of technology, rather than a driver of it; the dialogue explored how Australia could be a leader in AI development, rather than being a "taker of AI".
The report found that for successful AI development in Australia, the following issues need to be addressed:
- investment (lack of capital)
- talent shortages
- intergovernmental adoption, and
- security concerns across the information and cyber, maritime, air, space, and land domains.
