Don’t chase efficiency early in sales.

Your number one goal is to find people responsible for solving a problem.

You have the freedom to pick and choose your battles as an solo agency owner. Typically I do this by searching for topics/questions I'm interested in discord/slack servers.

Then I sort the results by most recent, and DM the people who most recently experienced in a problem I can solve.

Do this every time you learn something new.

For example: I just learned how to integrate SSR into a frameworkless React application and used it to generate 100+ pages PDF. I did a quick search in a community I'm part of and already found a few people who was attempting to do the same.

This costs me exactly $0 and only takes 1-2 hours per week. But the data I collect and connection I make is immensely valuable.

@levelsio @forgebitz Indeed, stocks are seperate. I was addressing your comment that banks cannot steal from you. If you can loose money with banks depends on the asset someone keeps there. Agree with you on stocks

@levelsio @forgebitz Regular deposits in banks are insured up to a certain amount. So keeping more than that in a bank is risky since it would actually be gone if the bank defaults (which happens to banks regularly). Use money market etfs for amounts above the threshold

@tawnniee Not a startup, but I do due dilligence for AI investments. I am able to dig into the technical claims and AI strategy. Series A does not need it, but after it's worth having a technical person look at it

@biztechgames Do you know the ikea type of self service where they seem to intuit which questions you have next and already answered it? Pairing with a customer delight kpi might be good so automating is not silently unpleasant for the sake of being hands-off

Do you submit bug reports to companies you use?

I often try but get stuck in customer service. One notable great exception was @paypal that implemented my suggestion, but @airbnb and @n26 just gives me back customer support responses. Maybe there is no channel to pass on reports
