Über Gaza schweigen, aber über die Ukraine „massiv" berichten. Das sind deutsche Medien.

Im Norden Gazas tötete die israelische Armee heute Morgen 96 Menschen, darunter zahlreiche Kinder. Weitere 60 wurden verletzt, 15 werden noch vermisst, so der Rote Halbmond auf Nachfrage.

Deutsche Medien berichten bislang nicht.

In der Ukraine wurden in der Nacht auf Sonntag sechs Menschen getötet, als die russische Armee laut ukrainischen Medien den Energie-Infrastruktur angriff.

Der Kontrast könnte am selben Tag kaum deutlicher sein. Es ist eine Hierarchie. Über israelische Verbrechen und palästinensisches Leid wird in der Regel nicht berichtet. Und wenn es doch geschieht, dann nicht in der selben wertenden Form und nicht sofort.

Solche israelischen Angriffe geschehen jeden Tag. Das heißt einerseits, sie sind jeden Tag berichtenswert. Und andererseits, das Ausmaß der heutigen Bombardierung stellt nochmal ein besonderes Massaker dar. In jedem anderen Konflikt, insbesondere wenn es um die Ukraine ginge, wäre das die Schlagzeile des Tages.

Vor einem Jahr stürmte die israelische Armee Gazas größtes Krankenhaus - auch mit Unterstützung von @zdfheute. In den folgenden Monaten zerstörte Israel die Al-Schifa-Klinik fast vollständig, tötete hunderte Patienten, Ärzte und Menschen, die im Krankenhaus Schutz gesucht hatten.

Auch jedes andere der insgesamt 36 Krankenhäuser im Gazastreifen wurde zum Ziel. Eine UN-Untersuchungskommission kam am 10. Oktober 2024 zum Ergebnis, Israel betreibe “eine Politik der gezielten Zerstörung des Gesundheitssystems im Gazastreifen.” Terror-Vorwürfe gegen Krankenhäuser hätten sich in keinem einzigen Fall bestätigen lassen.

Dass weder unter der Al-Schifa-Klinik noch unter einem der anderen Krankenhäuser je eine “Hamas-Kommandozentrale” gefunden wurde, hat das Publikum von @zdfheute bis heute nicht erfahren.
