May 1 was another huge success for the RMS and TL Bands at our annual mattress sale! We raised $13,470 for our programs, including $1,470 directly for our students. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success!

I am so excited and blessed to be able to announce that Twin Lakes is the 2021 IPA State Champion for Concert A class!

TL Winter Percussion took 2nd Place today at State Prelims! Congrats to an amazing group of young men and women. It’s taken a tremendous amount of work to get to this point. Off to State Finals next Saturday, March 27!

Congratulations to all three RMS Bands on receiving Gold Ratings for ISSMA contest! You’ve been through a lot this year, but that didn’t stop you from carrying on a long tradition of success with the Roosevelt Middle School Band Program. Congrats again and now enjoy Spring Break!

Last week, our band students submitted entries into the annual (though virtual this year) Solo & Ensemble Contest hosted by ISSMA. We’d like to announce that our students earned 10 Gold Solo Ratings, 1 Silver Solo Rating, 25 Gold Ensemble Ratings, and 3 Silver Ensemble Ratings!

All middle school private lessons will be held virtually this week since RMS is closed for virtual learning. Please see the picture for reminders about details.

Instrument Pick-up available tomorrow, 11am-12:30pm. Please pull up to the south side band doors, and you can either come knock on the door or message Mr Daning through remind/text that you’re here. I will then bring your instrument/music out to you. Thanks,
