Sobrang funny makakita ng "It's too Filipino," "the Filipino elements are in your face!" comments re: Forgotten Island kasi on FB and Threads, meron din namang, "It's not Filipino enough, it's too Americanized," etc.

If you are a Filipino in a creative field, please do not be disheartened.

The only thing you need to take away from all of this talk is just to make the thing you want to make and put your mind, heart and soul into it. If you do that and do the work to help people find you and your work, you'll be fine. The chips will fall where they may. 🤷🏻‍♀️
