Thailand 🇹🇭 says the Thai Army didn’t loot Cambodian property. Really?
So what’s the second guy doing? What’s the third guy searching for? What’s in that bag? Just… collecting light bulbs from schools for fun?
Breaking Locks, Breaking Laws: The Thai Army’s Moral Collapse in Cambodia
An army’s discipline is measured not by its press releases, but by how it treats civilians. In Pursat, Banteay Meanchey, and Oddar Meanchey provinces, the conduct of Thai armed forces has laid bare a troubling truth: this is no longer the behaviour of a professional military, but of a force operating without moral restraint and becoming robbers.

Cambodia’s Preah Vihear Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of Khmer cultural heritage, is reported to have been destroyed by Thai military aggression. The temple, which has long been at the center of border tensions, represents an irreplaceable loss to Cambodia’s history, identity, and world heritage.

While talks meant to move toward a ceasefire were underway, Thai forces carried out intensified strikes against Cambodia. Between 6:08 and 7:15 a.m. on December 26, Thai F-16 jets dropped 40 bombs on Chok Chey village in O’Chrov District.
🇮🇳🇰🇭🙏 Thank you to our friends in India for speaking up. Cambodia has been desperately urging Thailand to stop its aggression—not just for peace, but to protect our sovereignty, dignity, and shared heritage. We’ve called for international mediation to save lives and prevent further destruction, including sacred sites. When others speak out against injustice, it strengthens our call for truth and accountability.

Thai T-50 fighter jet violated Cambodia’s sovereignty, more than 70 km into Cambodian territory, and dropped bombs on a Cambodian civilian area near Phnom Sampov, Banan District, Battambang Province, at 10:00 a.m. on December 24, 2025, according to the Ministry of National Defense.
The above action constitutes a brutal, indiscriminate attack by the Thai military, violating international humanitarian law and amounting to a war crime against humanity.
''Please stop this warmonger.''
Thailand’s aggressive approach and the level of force used against Cambodia suggest this goes far beyond a narrow claim of border defense and points to deeper objectives beneath the surface. The response is disproportionate, and that is increasingly visible. It does little to strengthen how Thailand’s narrative is perceived.
The Thai military’s aggression against Cambodia has included the use of heavy artillery that damaged Buddhist temples, the bombing of Ta Krabei Temple and Preah Vihear Temple, and, most recently, the destruction of a statue of the god Vishnu. These sites are sacred places of worship and spiritual significance for Buddhists, Hindus, and followers of other faiths. For the true custodians of this heritage, witnessing such devastation brings profound sorrow and anguish beyond comparison. Those who are not the rightful owners, however, have shown no compassion for these religious structures or for the cultural and spiritual heritage they embody. They cheered and applauded while deliberately destroying and desecrating these sacred places of worship and religious faith. #ThailandViolatestheceasefire #India #Hindu #Buddhism

On December 19, 2025, the Thai military conducted a series of deliberate airstrikes by F-16 Fighter Jet targeting the O Jik Bridge, a civilian infrastructure, located in Srei Snam District, Siem Reap Province bordering Chong Kal District, Oddar Meanchey Province:
Timeline of Airstrikes:
- 10:55 pm, First F-16 strike 1 bomb was dropped.
- 11:00 pm, Second F-16 strike 1 bomb was dropped.
- 11:10 pm, Third F-16 strike 1 bomb was dropped.
These strikes occurred deep within Cambodian sovereign territory and mark the second time the O Jik Bridge has been targeted, following a previous F-16 attack on December 15, 2025. These actions constitute a reckless and indiscriminate assault on non-military targets. Given the bridge's proximity to displaced civilian camps and essential infrastructure, these strikes represent a grave violation of International Humanitarian Law, specifically the principle of distinction, which mandates the protection of civilians and civilian objects during armed conflict.

Thailand reports that a Thai soldier stepped on a landmine in the Cambodia-Thailand border area this morning, ahead of tomorrow’s ASEAN special foreign ministers’ meeting to address the current situation between Cambodia and Thailand, following more than 10 days of clashes.

Indiscriminate shelling along the Thai–Cambodian border is destroying schools and homes on both sides.
This isn’t one-sided. Both sides share responsibility.
Civilians lose.
