JUST WEAR THE MASK. Cover your mouth AND nose. Stay 6 feet from others. Wash your hands. Stay home if you can. #COVID19 cases are rising fast. If we don’t act together and do what we can to slow the spread, thousands more could die.

Joe Madison just asked me what can dads do to support pregnant women. 🤔
We can to attend prenatal appointments, recognize the signs and symptoms of pregnancy related complications, and make it easier for moms to attend to their physical and mental health. 🤰🏽#Dads4Moms
Non-Hispanic white children (29.2%) were more likely than both Hispanic (22.6%) and non-Hispanic black children (24.9%) to have had one or more urgent care or retail health clinic visit https://t.co/VOnvFOoexh
We cannot truly improve #maternalhealth—until we acknowledge the fact that women of color are at a greater risk of harm related to childbirth. Black women are three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications than white women.
DYK? #COVID19 cases are rising faster in rural areas compared to urban areas. Do your part to slow the spread:
•Stay home when possible.
•#WearAMask over your mouth AND nose.
•Stay 6ft from others and avoid crowds.
•Wash your hands often.

DYK: a black woman is 22% more likely to die from heart disease vs a white woman, and 71% more likely to die from cervical cancer, but 243% more likely to die from pregnancy related causes?!
Tomorrow I’ll be making an announcement about what we can do to address this crisis.
Flu activity is low so far this season. The measures we are taking to slow the pandemic will help to prevent flu as well, which will hopefully help to spare healthcare capacity. It's not too late to get your flu shot - I got mine earlier this month.
Getting a #flu vaccine this year is more important as ever. #FluVaccine not only can help protect you and your loved ones, but also help reduce the strain on hospitals and healthcare systems: https://t.co/0RKk6F7ltX
It takes about 2 weeks after flu vaccination for antibodies to develop in the body and provide protection against flu.
Did you get your #fluvaccine?
The more people vaccinated, the more people protected. #FightFlu

New @CDCMMWR finds that after Kansas put in place a mask mandate in July 2020 rates of #COVID19 decreased in counties with a mask requirement & increased in counties without one. Wear a mask, stay 6 feet apart from others, & wash your hands often. More: https://t.co/kSgJxDhZUq.
If you travel on public transportation like airplanes, trains, subways, buses, taxis, ride-shares, ships, or ferries, @CDCgov strongly recommends wearing a mask while waiting, boarding, and riding to slow the spread of #COVID19. Learn more: https://t.co/lfObKiaTot
URGENT ALERT: @CDCgov urges you to take action NOW to fight rapidly rising #COVID19 cases. Do your part: 1) #WearAMask over your mouth AND nose. 2) Stay 6 feet away from others. 3) Wash your hands. 4) Stay home if you can. Get the facts: https://t.co/B2kvHj4jwm
What an excellent resource to show up for me as I deal with day #5 of having COVID-19 symptoms while my friend was symptomatic for only 3 days. It is so important to listen to facts over feelings with regards to the severity that this virus can present! Stay safe everyone!!
Why do some people get very sick from #COVID19 while others do not? Harvard Health Publishing created a resource center to answer your questions about the coronavirus. https://t.co/iqwF7uCfx2
Absolutely true! A vaccine alone cannot stop the entirety of infections. "By small and simple things are great things brought to pass". Keep washing those hands, social distancing, masking, etc! It's the small things that make a big difference!

@gregggonsalves @YaleSPH:
"With any vaccine, we will have to continue social distancing, mask wearing etc...Even with a vaccine, we’ll have to continue all the other measures we have taken to keep people safe."
