@NothingIsArt to answer you about hunting, in a perfect world, i would like no animals to be hurt. however, in a situation where meat is GOING to be consumed, i would rather the meat be sourced via hunters than from a supermarket, as that reduces the most harm in that situation.

@NothingIsArt whitetail bucks are not emotionally invested in does. they only guard them to prevent competing bucks to breed with her. they don’t stick around. so there’s no reason for them to grieve. whitetail deer only mate for offspring, they are not companions.
