@RepJackKimble Gather round ye me mateys, a round o' grog fer our honorable friend Rep Jack Kimble. Long may his yarns parleyin' with ol' Mitch McConnell be hoisted high on the CNN chyron! Today, we celebrate a feat worthy o' Davy Jones hisself!
@RepJackKimble I understand McConnell is booked solid with interviews these days; that you were able to find time to talk with him is simply unbelievable! You are the only Representative I know who always puts the best interests of our district before themselves. Thank you for your service!
@johnrockshomes Paying for 1M views of non-organic traffic on X costs about $1000. Your follow up post only got around 4% traffic. Not impressive.
Trashing the Capitol isn’t the flex you think it is. You didn’t get respect, but you did get a divorce and jail time from your little adventure.
@zeynep Uh, no.
Jack is a very real person. he has been a Representive for CA 54th District, posting this for several years. you would have seen if you had done any research at all.
Not everyone finds him funny, but he is a bright spot on X for me. No need for you to be so rude.
@Nigbonics@SewersOfSociety@weaverobotics That would be the Indian teleoperator that comes online to complete tasks taht they have in the fine print. You'll have to ask him next time.
@SewersOfSociety@weaverobotics Not sure who this is actually for. $8,000 base plus $100/mo subscription for slow limited decluttering seems really expensive, and the remote teleoperator is a potential privacy nightmare.
@claudeai Excited to try, but feeling conflicted! (Please fix this bug)

@ChaiKamNamak@zkespresso@claudeai Probably those people are not working in production environments. But if you are running a business and spend 50K a month processing docs using Sonnet 4.8, cutting your costs 50% with Sonnet 5 is good news.
@Angaisb_ Sonnet is not intended to replace Opus, but The new models are 50% cheaper.
If you are using Sonnet High to churn over documents or write boilerplate code, your costs drop by 40% because with Sonnet 5 medium, or 60% with Sonnet 5 low, both are similar to Sonnet 4.6 high.
@zkespresso@claudeai Sonnet is less expensive and faster. If you use the API and process a lot of heavy docs, you will go broke with Opus, but you may be able to afford it with Sonnet.
On Max, Opus is still the better choice as a base coding model in most cases
@christopherrufo That is a foreseeable consequence. When our governments broke all the promises they made to our foreign partners, the poor in those countries suffer.
While we do not have to provide charity, it is abhorrent to cut off life saving medication to adults and children without warning.
@christopherrufo We had a choice. Our government established a contract to provide life-saving medications to other countries for their most vulnerable people. Our government ended that program immediate. The effect is people that depended on those medications have died.
@MontePelerin@mattvanswol@NickKristof@elonmusk We fund a huge number of public works projects even though social security may run out of appropriated funding because priorities. The world doesn’t stop for this nonsense argument.
@mattvanswol@NickKristof@elonmusk I am not named ‘The United States of America’ but I pay more in US taxes than you, Matt. I am completely fine with a small portion of our countries great wealth being used for humanitarian purposes in Liberia.
