If you are using Sonnet High to churn over documents or write boilerplate code, your costs drop by 40% because with Sonnet 5 medium, or 60% with Sonnet 5 low, both are similar to Sonnet 4.6 high.

@zkespresso @claudeai Sonnet is less expensive and faster. If you use the API and process a lot of heavy docs, you will go broke with Opus, but you may be able to afford it with Sonnet.

On Max, Opus is still the better choice as a base coding model in most cases

While we do not have to provide charity, it is abhorrent to cut off life saving medication to adults and children without warning.
