@lilyganados She can no longer do 125s and she can deprioritize the 250s and some of the 500s now, except maybe where she has a lot of points to defend. She also now gets to have some byes, so overall fewer matches vs this year if they play it right. She had to grind for seeding this year.

Alex will be playing more night matches as her popularity surges. That’s the downside of the huge demand she brings and the placement on big courts. Tennis is a business and they will milk her and ride on the wave for as long as it flows. Being famous is double edged sword.

That said, I cannot imagine being the scheduler for slams, with all the egoes and personalities and considerations you have to balance especially in the early rounds. You have to take into account ranking, locals, crowd drawers, legacy players, yikes!
