Wonderful result at Downpatrick Head. Incredible work by all emergency services present. Very proud of our lifeboat crew Ballyglass @RNLI 23 hours at sea with no break. In hours of darkness they shone a light every half hour to check on casualty and let him know help was there❤️

RNLI crew from Crosshaven have finished first in the Inter-Services Beaufort Cup Race around Fastnet Rock as part of Cork Week. They took line honours on Nieulargo the RCYC yacht but on corrected time handicap IRC British Army Royal Engineers on the J109 Trojan won the Cup.

Today this man retires from @KilmoreQuayRNLI Brian Kehoe (Blondie) has been with the @RNLI for 50 years as volunteer crew and station mechanic. He is loved by all and the lifeboat gleamed under his care. Happy retirement Blondie, you've earned it.
