@MenInBlazers@NBCSN@NBCSportsSoccer This is like the Greyjoys (Everton) bending the knee once again to the starks (LFC). The greyjoys continuously believe they can attack the north (Liverpool) only to realize the starks rule the north. Keep up the great work Balon! You’ll Never Walk Alone!
@IanDarke If the nations and confederations are making money, yes. Again, this is FIFA. What’s changed since Infantino has been in charge? I really don’t know but probably nothing. The integrity of the game is more concerning than the business side.
@MaxBretosSports Maybe gun-shy to the idea of a new cycle with the same manager after 26 years and 4 managers getting the same opportunity. Given the end result of this cycle and money spent on the same result, I’d probably move on.
@espnhomer We’re not. What’s the number one rule of homerism. What’s 2: see one. Only 8 nations have won the World Cup. Right now, we’re not ready for the gauntlet of 4 extra matches against the elite. A one off sure. The nations who have won going into cycles and usually take awhile
@espnhomer The music celebrates and countdown to kickoffs have staples in the past. I have a lot of criticism for FIFA and us soccer however the power of the World Cup prevails.
@espnhomer Someone is not in the know. This is FIFA’s call. Like kickoff times for our matches at 10 pm eastern. Yet, most of the people the matches came from where? HERE.
@MaxBretosSports Call it collateral damage post 2018, missing veteran leadership. Now two cycles later, the veteran leadership should be back to stable? Ream and group of youngsters have stepped up, now we should hear more “veterans of 3 World Cup Types” going forward.
@Nicocantor1 It’s frustrating to listen to this. Rise above. If you’re better then be better. Part of the progress is the growth and expectations. I hope there can be a relationship with the ones who came before and I hope their progress continues to grow.
@AmericanOutlaws The fact that AO DOES NOT have a relationship with us soccer after 20 years is amazing to me. US soccer has their own pre game parties. Their own supporters membership. Nothing connects AO to us soccer except for the chapter pageantry.
@MaxBretosSports@rogbennett@AlexiLalas Someone on Twitter pointed this out: has there been any ads for soccer in our country outside of the World Cup? We often talk about tide in and tide out of a World Cup. Has there been a bigger opportunity since 94 right now?
