Big progress starts with tiny changes. The Eco Rangers gang collected all this litter in just an hour and a half. We're on a mission to improve the Pannie Den for the benefit of nature and the community. So proud of these wonderful young people! @tinychanges@pathheadprimary
We don't often get the opportunity to hear all the positive things our peers think about us. This group of young people we're working with got creative with self-portraits, shared some kindness and helped build self esteem.

@reekiearron We loved being back @pathheadprimary great working with you @reekiearron glad you didn’t mind eating your lunch on the go! Great to have such an enthusiastic team to work with!
We loved reading this feedback from parents: “the kids have absolutely loved their sessions with R&R... it’s amazing what my wee one can reel off about nest building, plants & birds now!” #outdoorlearning#play#nurture
Big test of our thinking on nature conservation coming tomorrow. How far have we come? How many of the fallen trees will be left perfectly alone? suspect the need to tidy and manage will take precedence. Be a shame - an opportunity wasted. #rewilding
Brilliant work from our groups today. Sheltering piglet with moss that had been blown loose in the winds. Making debs on smaller scales of often much more sustainable & lots of opportunities for creativity, nurture & teamwork! #outdoorlearning#play#nurture
A beautiful Hazel flower! At the moment you can see both male flowers (yellow catkins) & these delicate pink/red female flowers on hazel #trees. We’ve been spotting some with out #nurture#outdoorlearning groups. Have you spotted any? #flowers#biodiversity#nature
Do you think adventure is important? The pupils from @SinclairtownP had a great time exploring, climbing & learning in the most adventurous ways today. Adventure can provide us with a sense of mastery which is so important for wellbeing & a key measure of resilience too!
Look at the fascination.A robin captured this class’s attention. Studies show that the quality of our attention in #nature is a key factor in determining the level of #wellbeing benefits we receive.Having fascination&attention being modelled by a trusted, empathetic adult helps!
Gazing up at this magnificent monkey puzzle with a group of children yesterday...experiences of awe are connected with greater wellbeing& more altruistic attitudes. So much value in the most (seemingly) simple #outdoorlearning & #nurture experiences outdoors ❤️
Finding treasures in the woods, a cone that “looks like a rose”, the sensory apprehension & then joy of touching some jelly ear fungus & soaking up some winter sun. All great for learning & good for the soul. V grateful to be working with the fab team @SinclairtownP this term!
Entering ‘the mine’ ... first day bk with @WaroutPS. The pupils wanted to return to the upturned trees previously discovered where they could ‘mine’ for raptor bones & other treasure. A lovely, imaginative #play session - the opposite of being cooped up on devices in the hols...
Our final session of the term, celebratory campfire & kind words activity. One of our yp said “it made me feel loved” - cldn’t have asked for a better ending. It’s all about #relationships#love#nature
Beautiful feedback from our last session working with a lovely group of pupils at Coaltown of Balgonie. They’ve been working on communication, resilience and peer #relationships.. #outdoorlearning#nurture
We’ve been loving working with pupils at Coaltown of Balgonie PS. Working on peer #relationships, confidence, communication & empathy - all while having awesome outdoor adventures! #outdoorlearning#nature#schoolpartnerships
