Alright so we're a couple of days behind schedule but let's dig into this paper where we look at how CRF affects the insular cortex and whether this is necessary for detecting stress cues in social interactions.
@notbobkoz I could see Freddy getting more than Skubal. I get that Skubal is a significantly better pitcher but Freddy would be way cheaper and not coming off an elbow injury. There's at least some risk you're lighting 16million on fire with Skubal and I think non LA/NY teams won't bid
@ZineAFC Especially seeing as we haven't had a single player come in under Arteta and significantly improve their finishing. He's been a great coach at a lot of things but that is not one of them.
@notbobkoz I could see the Brewers moving for Skubal if they think they're one starting pitcher away from a title. I'm not sure they do though. Could also see them worrying about how Miz and Harrison hold up into the fall and seeing Skubal as a guarantee against that.
@notbobkoz Blake's rarely played and they sent him down multiple times this year lol. It'll be interesting to see who the first position player up is though. I know they've been doing alright in AAA but that jump with the fact they probably wouldn't play everyday could be a rough transition
@notbobkoz It sucks we can't afford to send him down. Give him a few weeks in the lab and some confidence and he's got the juice to be another number 1 sooner than later
I get the Brewers are reticent to eat his contract but DFAing him and bringing up one of the prospects feels like a no brainer at this point. At least Ortiz (glove) and Hamilton (chaos) give you something as utility options.
If you're going to play him at all probably better that he starts and you can correct the mistake if he's not looking good enough than bring him on as a sub late and have him not be able to get up to speed and be stuck with it.
