When I was still dating, I had a number of exes who would come back, sometimes after months or years, talking about how wrong they now realize they were and how ready they are to make things right, if only I’d give them a second chance. I often felt flattered by it, and at a point, even began to use it as bragging rights. “They always come back because they know no one would treat them better.”
Lmaoo. Now, I’m more aware of how much of a truth that was indeed—and not in a good way.
Prove them wrong.
When you part from someone whom you had to pray out of your life, someone whom you had to cry over, over and over again, that’s not a loss but a blessing. You shouldn’t wish for them to return. You shouldn’t wish for them to have any thoughts of you at all.
And you must know this, they never suddenly receive that epiphany. They always knew how much of a good person you were to them, but they just always chose to take that for granted.
Grateful for these dreamy eyes that still dream, that even when closed still see embers.
Grateful for growth and the gift of companionship.
Happy birthday ‘Tunji Enahoro, to many more years of dreaming and walking in the fulfillment of dreams💜
Exceptional service from everyone I had contact with at the Nigeria High Commission, London. Despite the complication (that wasn’t their fault) with getting my renewal sorted, they all went above and beyond to help resolve it all the while being very nice, kind and respectful.
Something used to happen to me in the past. I'd be having fun and one particular emotionally traumatic experience would suddenly sneak into my memory and change my mood. It was so bad that if I was at a party, I'd leave and go home. The person involved had apologised and had continued to do better but I just couldn't forget. Even though I had forgiven the act, I couldn't seem to forget.
If you're going through this as well, please keep these bible verses in mind and use them to support your prayers.
-Isaiah 43:18-19 NIRV
“Forget the things that happened in the past. Do not keep on thinking about them. I am about to do something new. It is beginning to happen even now…
-Psalm 51:10.“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me”

There's something about worship. Worshipping God reminds you of who God is then you're in turn reminded of your place as a son or daughter and then you're reminded of the promises of God towards us as his children.
God is a good God, never forget
Watching Rozz treat Thomas like this, reminds me so much of how Morag treated Luke. Those decent and beautiful humans definitely deserved BETTER #MAFSUK
