Good, JKIA and Kentraco deals are cancelled, and I hope it’s not the way the Finance Bill was ‘withdrawn’ and is now back with a different face. But what about Adani’s involvement in Kenya’s UHC through their subsidiary company, Apeiro Limited?

Apeiro holds the majority stake (59.55%) in a consortium tasked with developing a tech-based UHC system alongside Safaricom and Konvergenz Network Solutions.

Many concerns were raised about how the contract was awarded, as it bypassed competitive bidding. Additionally, questions surrounding the ownership of Apeiro’s parent company, Sirius International Holding, highlight further transparency issues.

Why didn’t the president cancel this too, or are we leaving healthcare to Adani and co.?
