The rebel group called terrorist AA has burnt down the entire Buthidaung to ashes and so is Maungdaw. The AA has killed 10000+ Rohingya including children, women and men. For all these casualties, the terrorist group AA is responsible and they must be brought to accountable.
In Maungdaw Township of Rakhine State, the Arakan Army (AA) has been targeting Rohingya civilians with drones and artillery. Yesterday (August 5th), in a single day, at least 200 Rohingya civilians, including women, children, and the elderly, were killed and many were injured. There are countless bodies. Rohingya who fled from Ywet Nyo Taung village in Buthidaung Township have endured a long struggle to find refuge, and they have finally found shelter in the Wa Ma Kya hamlet of Thay Kan Gwan Son village tract.
However, this village has minimal food resources and is on the brink of starvation in the coming days. Additionally, the children are suffering from diarrhoea and chickenpox.
Survivors from Ywet Nyo Taung reported that at least 8 people, including 3 young children, died when the boat they were on sank after being fired upon by the Arakan Army (AA) on April 12, 2024.
Before they arrived in Thay Kan Gwan Son, while seeking refuge in Da Pyu Chaung village, the AA attacked the village with drones and heavy weapons, resulting in the deaths of at least 18 Rohingya villagers and many injuries on April 25th, late in the evening.
