i filtered for chatgpt fics on ao3 and found pretty obvious artefacts that you wouldn’t see in a fic that wasn’t copy/pasted!!

i am exploring the html of some flagged fics from the doc and i'm finding some other potential artifacts that could be from gemini! hope someone with more coding experience than me can dive into it

@arstoryels i am not an expert by any means, but from the limited amount of research I’ve done, yes it will be in the container code. I don’t want to post anything I’ve found yet until someone smarter than me makes an ao3 skin though!

@aventrns someone figured out you can view the html of fics and see clearly if AI was used. there is an ao3 skin that flags claude usage, but the others (gpt,grok) are a bit harder to spot. So i been looking thru the html of fics that are clearly tagged gpt to see what i can find!
