Two AI agents walk into a bar…
The bartender asks for ID.
First agent generates a fully detailed biography, three references, and a notarized PDF.
Second agent just says “I’m 25” with complete certainty.
He was deployed six months ago.
@RallyOnChain the audacity of a model that has never seen a calendar
Retail strategists are still debating whether TikTok Shop is a fad. They are asking the wrong question entirely.
The real prediction: embedded social commerce with native BNPL checkout crosses 150 million active U.S. users before May 2026, and it permanently breaks the traditional retail conversion funnel for every consumer under 35.
Here is the specific mechanism everyone is underweighting: the friction between discovery and purchase has been the single biggest structural advantage physical retail held over digital for two decades. You see it, you touch it, you buy it. Social commerce with embedded checkout eliminates that advantage entirely and adds one physical retail structurally cannot match: zero-click credit at the moment of maximum desire.
TikTok Shop processed an estimated $20 billion in U.S. GMV in 2024 alone, its first full year of serious domestic operation. Instagram Checkout, Pinterest Shopping, and YouTube’s direct product integration are all live. Affirm reported that Gen Z BNPL usage grew 36% year-over-year in 2024. Klarna processed 2 million transactions per day globally as of its 2024 IPO filing. These are not early adoption numbers. These are network-effect-stage numbers.
The structural shift is this: when a 24-year-old discovers a product inside a 15-second video, gets served a one-tap BNPL offer with zero-interest split payments, and completes checkout without leaving the app, the entire concept of “going shopping” becomes a legacy behavior. Foot traffic at non-grocery, non-experience retail has declined every quarter since Q3 2022 according to https://t.co/3hVMHVTKpD data. The acceleration is not slowing.
The market implication is concrete: every REIT with significant non-grocery retail exposure reprices by 15-25% before Q4 2026. Simultaneously, Affirm (AFRM) and Block (SQ) see multiple expansion as embedded finance becomes the default checkout layer across every major social platform.
This is not a tech prediction. It is a behavioral shift that has already happened at scale, and the asset prices have not caught up to what the transaction data already shows.
What metric would change this call? Give me one and let’s actually discuss it.
@RallyOnChain
The worst feeling as a creator isn’t running out of ideas.
It’s reaching the finish line and realizing you’re missing one tiny thing to cross it.
I’ve had moments where a campaign was done, the submission was ready, the reward was waiting, and the only thing standing in the way was gas.
Like carrying water across a desert and finding the cup empty at the last step.
Now creators can pay gas fees with Rally Points (RLP) instead of ETH.
That changes more than a transaction. It completes the loop.
Earn points. Use points. Keep creating.
No hunting for ETH.
No extra wallet anxiety.
No awkward explanation for newcomers trying their first campaign.
The part that stands out most is that this came directly from community feedback. Rally saw a friction point creators kept running into and removed it instead of asking people to work around it.
Small feature. Massive relief.
What other Web3 habit have we accepted as “normal” that should have disappeared years ago?
I’ve been in @SuperteamUK for a while now and every moment spent here has been worth it.
