This is an emotional time for the Destiny community, but what's happening with Destiny 2 is not the fault of fans, community managers, content creators, journalists, or others in the community. I've been seeing a lot of harassment, and that energy is being directed at the wrong people.
As paying customers, it is completely fair to ask questions and be curious about what comes next. No one is trying to censor that. But directing hate toward people who are not responsible does nothing to help the situation.
Right now, we need to stay focused. Despite everything, I've been genuinely moved by the incredible posts, videos, memories, and support I've seen across my timeline during what is probably the saddest moment many of us have experienced as Destiny players.
We may not get the Shattered Cycle. We may not shatter records on June 9th. I'm going to do everything I can to rally players together for one last massive moment.
Here is a graphic you can use on your social media pages to help spread the word.
Thank you to Destiny Bulletin for making the original graphic. It ended up being perfect for the petition.
"Destiny marcó a toda una generación de jugadores y dejó un enorme legado en la industria de los videojuegos, influyendo incluso en juegos como Warframe.
"No existiría Warframe sin el legado de los juegos de Bungie".

I know I'm angry about the Bungie situation. Almost don't even want to touch Marathon until it's confirmed Destiny is not dead.
Killing off a series I have ~10k+ hours in and covered for over a decade. It's the wrong move.
Everyone but the idiots calling the shots know this.
Guys, this video is in the top 50 MOST HYPED VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE!! And it’s much higher in the gaming category!
We are seriously making a difference. The message is being sent.
#WeWantDestiny3
🚨 The "Develop Destiny 3" petition has now crossed 200,000 signatures in just three days, as the community calls on everyone to log in on June 9 for one last big Destiny 2 sendoff - https://t.co/W8xgbPuUSf
Woke up to 123,000 verified signatures.
That means we got about 23,000 while I was sleeping.
Sign the petition if you want a studio to make Destiny 3.
Log in on June 9th.
Post comments and stories on social media telling Sony we still have gas in the tank.
I’d like to thank everyone who entrusted me to design their Destiny 2 tattoo commissions. It truly means a lot to create designs that became a lasting part of someone’s story.
You can find the complete list in the comments below.
Reminder to everyone, if you don't want this to be the end of Destiny the only thing we can really do is show up
When the update hits in June PLAY THE FUCKING GAME
Take your time with the content, blow that player count up, crash the servers. Show Sony/Bungie we're still here.
Within the first 24 hours, the petition for Sony to make Destiny 3 has reached 77,000 verified signatures. Thank you to everyone who has signed and shared the petition.
I know this may ultimately change nothing, but it shows that this community is unified in wanting Destiny 3, and we want to make that message as clear as possible to Sony if anyone is going to pitch the future of the franchise to them. There's also something a little poetic about the number landing on two sevens.
On top of that, make sure to log in on June 9th. This is going to be the last big party in Destiny 2.
Thank you, everyone.
Can’t hurt. I haven’t played in a while but dang I did love those raids and the stories were great. Feel for the d2 community most I ran into were a good bunch.

I’m asking everyone who sees this to sign this petition and on June 9th PLAY Destiny 2. It’s always a long shot with a petition to a major company but I refuse to sit and do nothing. Help me keep my favorite game franchise alive.
