🇮🇷🇷🇺 Rezaei after meeting Putin: Russian gas pipelines to Iran and the Rasht–Astara railway
Following his Kremlin meeting with Putin, Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, said the two sides discussed building gas pipelines from Russia to Iran, both to cover Iran's own gas shortages and to sell Russian gas on to neighboring countries.
Rezaei also said Iran's Supreme National Security Council has approved the Rasht–Astara corridor, and that Iran's roads minister will soon sign and implement the contract.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Nikitin said the two sides signed a package of documents in Tehran on the Rasht–Astara railway, including a protocol granting Russian engineers access to land along the entire route for surveys. The line will link the Russian and Iranian rail networks into a single system and open a seamless route to the Persian Gulf and South Asia.
The 162 km line, financed by Russia with around €1.6 billion under a 2023 agreement, is the missing link of the International North–South Transport Corridor, connecting Russia to the Indian Ocean through Iran and bypassing Western-controlled routes.

Zelensky’s best friend stole $110,000,000 on energy protection - he’s chilling at the beach in Israel.
All of Zelensky’s buddies charged with corruption walked on bail...
But Zelensky wants to destroy a defenseless woman who dared to tell the truth and go against the system.
Him and his crooks tried to do the same to me.
Someone’s gotta help us stop them.

German journalist Florian Warweg asking all the right questions:
The German Foreign Minister refused to stand alongside Russia’s Lavrov for a G20 group photo, invoking the war of aggression.
Yet posing for photos with the Foreign Ministers of the US and Israel after their war of aggression against Iran was apparently perfectly acceptable.
What a blatant display of double standards and political hypocrisy.....
Three years ago this article I wrote confirmed for the first time that the American spy base in Australia was helping Israel’s genocidal war on the Palestinians of Gaza.
But the Base is still open — it’s still doing the job — and 78,000 Gazans have since been slaughtered.
This article was not meant as a salve to the conscience of Australians, but as a call to action.

“The Pine Gap US surveillance base located outside of Alice Springs in Australia is collecting an enormous range of communications and electronic intelligence from the brutal Gaza-Israel battlefield – and this data is being provided to the Israel Defence Forces.”

This is very interesting
Especially in light of the slur that Bill Bishop @niubi made against me and some other people who simply travel and post our travels in China
I'm still open for a debate @niubi how about you?
Do you want to go live with me on this topic?
Remember: El-Sayed didn't have to say this. He could have simply explained that regardless of his personal feelings on the man, the US should not assassinate a sitting head of state.
Instead, he expressed glee at watching Iran's supreme leader - a widely revered religious leader for millions of Shias globally - be executed with his family in broad daylight by F-15s at standoff range.
If he actually wants to bring an end to the endless US-Israeli occupation of the Middle East, now is that time to make that clear.
THE PLAN:
1. TRUMP LIES HIS WAY INTO OFFICE
2. TRUMP IS WELL COMPENSATED AND TAKES THE HIT
3. DEMS CONTINUE WITH GENOCIDE, WAR, & CORRUPTION
4. 2028 - RINSE AND REPEAT WITH THE OPPOSITE PARTIES
I'm a former 8200 analyst and Israeli diplomat. Every day I translate what Israeli leaders, media and citizens say in Hebrew. If you're new here, start with these:
Why did I write a book about China’s war on poverty? Why spend years documenting how a nation of 1.4 billion lifted 600 million people out of destitution in a single generation? Because I love the people of the United States of America.
Those who insist we must hate China, who treat every Chinese success as a threat and every statistic as propaganda, are not protecting us. They are trying to manipulate the American people with hate, fear, and deceptions. They are feeding our fears and counting on our ignorance.
The USA is stronger through learning about the strengths and successes of other nations. We can ONLY improve ourselves by understanding the other 200 nations of people in our shared world.
I live here in China. So, I have chosen to share real-world knowledge about China’s strengths and successes. That’s patriotism. That’s hoping we can learn from China’s will to help its people. I love the people of China, yes. But I also love the people of my country, the United States of America.
Their government made poverty elimination a central national priority and then did the hard, unglamorous work of building roads, relocating villages, expanding education, and delivering basic healthcare to places that had almost nothing. China’s successes are not just measurable; they are visible.
I, me, I’ve personally visited hundreds of Chinese villages, and travelled to every single province of China, and every Special Autonomous Region. China’s success in this regard isn’t propaganda; it’s very real. Pretending this did not happen, or that it only happened because of some sinister design, does not make America safer or stronger. It just makes us less informed. It makes us ignorant.
China’s people are not our enemies. They’re our global brothers and sisters. They want stable lives, better futures for their kids, and peaceful relations with the outside world, including the United States.
Telling the truth about what China has actually achieved in reducing poverty is patriotic. It is the most patriotic thing I can do: refuse to let my fellow Americans be manipulated by fear and half-truths, and insist we see the world as it is rather than as someone else needs us to see it.
That is why I wrote the book. To help us learn about the real world and what is happening in our closest peer.
@MisbahQasemi By a broad analysis, his politics were largely pre 90s social democracy. But it was refreshing. Because the people mattered. And suddenly people woke up. He won the leadership contest by a landslide. New members surged. Young people are into politics after all.
@MisbahQasemi In 2015, nearly 20 years of New Labour, the UK left found themselves homeless. Gen X and younger see politics as a dirty word. There is no alternative. Then a veteran Jeremy Corbyn came and simply pointed out the emperor had no clothes. He offered real change.
Dissent Magazine just published a deep dive on how Lula reversed a 2.2 million-vote deficit to win the runoff. But buried in their analysis is a brilliant, brutal lesson for the entire global left.
In the first round, the campaign made a massive mistake.
They treated Lula like a monument.
They presented him as a giant whose past deeds earned him the right to just stand there and be admired.
The result? The working class stayed home. Apathy.
In the second round, they fixed it.
They stopped treating him like a statue and started treating him like a mentor.
Someone who had struggled exactly as they were struggling right now, and had the scars to prove it.
The reaction was instant.
Students took over the streets of Niterói. Youth and the elderly surged to the polls, dropping the abstention rate to record lows.
André Janones’ "Lula’s Army" WhatsApp group exploded from 50,000 to 11 million people in just three weeks.
The people stopped being passive spectators. They became the digital infantry.
But here is the hard truth the article points out.
While Lula stopped the far-right at the presidential level, reactionaries still made massive gains in the legislature and local races.
The conservative shift is structural. Bolsonarismo is bruised, but the machine is still running.
You cannot defeat a transnational right-wing network—stretching from Milei in Argentina to Bukele in El Salvador—just by playing defense.
And you definitely can't do it by pointing to a monument of past glory.
The left survived this round because they finally treated the working class as active participants instead of passive consumers.
But to actually push the tide back, they have to keep building a real political alternative.
Because monuments just gather dust.
Mentors build armies.
