Freelance life can be isolating so one of the ways I look after my #mentalhealth is to #walk or #run this towpath. I get away from a screen, breathe fresh air & meet other runners or people out walking the dog. Plus it sparks creativity too!

As well as providing offices for MPs, Portcullis House, opposite Parliament, holds various meetings rooms, which sit above a beautiful glass atrium & are accessed through corridors featuring impressive portraits of former PMs & key political figures. (Sadly no photos allowed!)

For today’s World Book Day, I’m giving a shout out to libraries. As a pre-internet child, borrowing books from the local library definitely started my love of reading. And through University, the library was an incredible resource (and great meeting point)!

Now, I simply enjoy discovering libraries on my travels & seeing how communities use them. Like the one in Chicago which has a spectacular @TiffanyAndCo glass dome to draw a crowd.

Great day in London yesterday with @Hybrid_Planning for a meeting at the newly refurbished @RTPIPlanners HQ. Lots of exciting plans made for the year & a chance to see a #London #landmark – the Walkie Talkie building. A visit to the Sky Garden there is still on my to do list!
