The St. Louis Fire Department is deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Firefighter Willie DeBoise.

Firefighter DeBoise began serving the City of St. Louis on November 7, 2008, and joined the
St. Louis Fire Department on December 9, 2013. He dedicated more than 17 years to the
City of St. Louis and more than 12 years to the department and our community.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all who are grieving this profound loss. We ask that the family’s privacy be respected during this incredibly difficult time.

Information regarding services will be shared when appropriate and with the family’s permission.
