@JanMoor17615407 @BGatesIsaPyscho The sun + water vapor. It's called a sunset. Yes, sometimes the orange hue mixes with the night dusk sky and thus purple hues are emitted. This is nothing out of the ordinary other than OP picture having the hdr & saturation amped up
