@sexandtheswiss There were lots of things being spoken about this years ago. Watch Daniel Sloss stand up from way back, doesnt mention a name but seems suspect. Difficult to go up against someone with power and influence. Strong Jimmy Saville vibes with all of this.
@KateOsborneMP@YourNHS2021 Will Labour increase wages and working conditions for public sector includi g NHS workers? If not then this is just a points scoring statement as staff will continue to go to where they feel working conditions and pay are better.
@Heccles94 Hate to be the one who puts a downer on this but shouldnt we all be joining them? All hospital staff. All rail staff, teachers etc. Where is the coherent organisation from all the unions? An emoji on social media a hieves nothing.
@sexandtheswiss Personally, I don’t think it has helped. The problem is that will apply to some people and not all. As a society there are fewer swimming pools, fast food is cheap, the quality of food is poor, people live far away from their jobs which are now sedantary, lots of issues…
@DarrenFinnegan2@CombatSportPhys@mickwhughes@nicklivadas Not an experienced physio (former biomechanist), used to do Muay Thai then complete rupture of ACL. Would go for repair if I was him. Lots of single leg stance on slightly soft/unstable surface (mats/rings) with lots of anterior force when kicking then rapidly back to stance.
@danielgoyal You need to them to put on rules, regulations and laws which mean there are consequences to their actions. Will any of the political parties do that?
@CryptoSeann @inihelene Royksopp did some great stuff with Jamie Irrepressible.
Antony (Anonhi) and the Jonsons - Hope there’s someone, or anything by Anonhi feels similar-ish
When the penny drops for you and you wonder how the hell we got here, in large part it’s because arrogant news journalists and radio hosts believed they knew better than David Attenborough and the worlds leading scientists, and didn’t believe this could possibly be true:
@sexandtheswiss I have a funny bridge of my nose and any kind of eyewear just irritates me. More of a distraction than a help at times. So yep, I’m one of those.
@brettboettcher1 Few questions. Why would you want to try and utilise all of your IC and have no IRV left at all times?
How does any breathing technique improve oxygenation to the brain specifically?
@therastaphysio British healthcare was private before the NHS and became socialised. Why is it inevitable that it will become privatised when it is still largely social. Surely easier to get it where it should be from the current starting point?
@toniwriter Start using an assisted pull up machine if your gym has one or start with doing an inverted barbell row (look on youtube). Doing a seated row to strengthen your back will likely be beneficial as well if you’re just starting to exercise again.
@NikiRust Big concern. Counteracted by the concern for the cost of healthcare when older. The cost of assistance at home or staying in a residential home is astronomical already. If you do have a pension and investments and survive to older age it’s likely to get wiped out quick!
@12Walkies@DrAmirKhanGP@GeolJR I imagine he probably has a fairly good idea what thats like. He’s a Dr. You are able to look their salaries up. They have been discussed quite a lot lately as they are far too low. The BBC (although not just them) have allowed lies to be spread about GP’s for years.
@CB_cycles How long will you be there for? Grew up and spent 2/3rds of my life there so anything you want to know just ask.
Trafalgar tavern is a nice riverside pub, gets busy when its nice weather though. Places mentioned are good, couple if pubs in the market square do nice food too.
