Luke Littler winning darts last night reminded me of something I saw in the derelict RAF Ibsley control tower.

The photo shows holes in the wall surrounding the space where a dartboard was once hung, upon which airmen of many nationalities played darts. (Visit with permission).

New data on farms and inheritance tax: a third of farm estates over £1.5m aren’t farmers but wealthy people avoiding IHT by sinking money into farmland.

The Budget hits farmers too hard and tax avoiders too lightly. It needs to change.

@bridgetwhipsin @NFUtweets It’s still state aid which is more than most businesses or individuals in other areas get, and who them have to pay inheritance tax. The tax is unfair but everyone should be exempt or no one.
Never mind the paltry Section 106 payments they get away with if they grow houses.
