@O2 Hey O2 - I went to the store on Monday, got a SIM and did a sim swap in store. I put it in my daughter's old phone but it's still not able to make or receive calls. Are you able to help me with that?
@O2 Is there a way to order a new SIM for my daughter who's lost her phone, because I can't find a way to do that on your website and your call-centre is obviously hopelessly under-staffed?
Yours, Frustrated Customer who feels like moving his entire family off your network.
@O2 I must've been with you guys nearly 20 years, but now I'm well ready to start looking at other options. You guys need to either sort out your call-centre or digitise more of your services because this current mess must be upsetting an awful lot of your customers.
@O2 No they haven't. I told them not to bother because any solution that involves calling your call-centre again after this experience is unacceptable. Will visit a store because that is way quicker than trying to get you on the phone. Wish I'd tried twitter 1st now :(
@O2 I'm the account holder, so it's in my name. She's in London with no phone, and I've spent about 3 hours trying to contact your call centre. I've finally got through and just been told I'll need to phone again if you send me a new SIM. I don't have time for that. Shocking!
Deloitte going remote-first forever is far bigger than people realize
In one swoop they:
- forced McKinsey, Bain, BCG, PWC, KPMG & EY to be remote-first or lose all their best people to Deloitte
- established themselves as the best place for consultants to work
Jedi move 🧠
The world is full of leaders with strong opinions and weak values.
What if we strive for the opposite: strong values and weak opinions?
Integrity depends on being consistent in your principles. Progress depends on being flexible in your policies.

X : Are you in favour of capitalism?
Me : That's like asking me whether I'm in favour of Agile? Capitalism is a tool which has an appropriate context. So yes, I'm in favour in its appropriate context. The dogma of using a tool as a "one size fits all" is extremism.
The single most fundamental error of the last three decades is to try and design an idealised future state rather than working the evolutionary potential of the here and now, the adjacent possibles - it is impossible to gain consensus in the former, easier in the latter
I've spoken to 2,000+ companies over the last 12 months about their plans for remote work going forward
Here are a few things I've learned
