So their plan is to use tax payers money to prop up businesses for over two years?

According to a new survey released this morning, 75% of Canadians support Ottawa’s approach to negotiations with the United States.

So let me get this straight...

➡️Our trading conditions with the U.S. are only getting worse, not better, compared with those of other countries.

➡️Canadians have not even seen the deal Ottawa rejected.

➡️Yet many apparently support counter-tariffs, which are ultimately taxes paid by Canadian businesses and consumers.

At some point, we have to ask whether we are punishing Washington or simply punishing ourselves.

After more than a year of negotiations, Canadians are still waiting for the better deal Prime Minister Carney promised.

His government has made concession after concession, from dropping the digital services tax, to removing retaliatory tariffs, to giving away half of the toll revenues from the Gordie Howe Bridge, all without delivering the certainty Canadian workers and businesses need.

California dragged Shana Gaviola to prison for opposing the gender transition of her son.

When Gaviola discovered that her son's public school began secretly transitioning him, she pulled him out and made plans to send him to a Christian boarding school.

The Biden DOJ charged her with kidnapping and sought the harshest penalty possible. Gaviola is going to prison for three years.

Her son is now an adult and never transitioned. Gaviola's sentence starts next week.

Gaviola does not regret what she did and said :

“I would not be going to prison if I had done nothing. That’s the part I can’t accept -- the law was safe for the mother who looks away, and unforgiving to the one who didn’t.”
