@ethansmith01 Only 50? If it was 250, I’d take your commentary more to heart.

[Rob Steinmetz @rob_steinmetz]

@GVictoriaaBC Haha, agreed!! Hope to see you next time I’m on campus.

[Rob Steinmetz @rob_steinmetz]

@freednog That’s some final destination stuff. Glad you’re okay and be careful getting into the shower.

[Rob Steinmetz @rob_steinmetz]

@GVictoriaaBC Thanks for making me famous! ;-) Hope the presentation went well.

This morning @3RiversCC , I just welcoming high school students interested in Engineering at our Women in Engineering event. Leaders in the field are giving advice to the engineers of the future. We are educating over 100 students in our program. https://t.co/EGU7WhOVyi

We spent a crisp Saturday morning volunteering at Tackle the Trail; a 20 mile race benefiting the @QVCC Foundation. The level of organization was impressive and everything went off without a hitch. #tacklethetrail #qvccfoundation #studentsuccess

Had a great time speaking with students @3RiversCC this morning. They expressed passion for supporting their fellow students and asked well informed & thoughtful questions. Special shoutout to @GVictoriaaBC from the President’s Office at the college for the selfie!

It was great getting to stop by the Raise Your Flag event at MiddlesexCommunity College, CT today. The room was filled, and there was both a celebratory mood and many reminders that the work continues to ensure we are all accepted and embraced by our communities.

Just leaving @QVCC’s annual golf fundraiser. The foundation has done an amazing job of cultivating relationships with businesses and the community. They help a large number of students, both credit and non-credit, every year. https://t.co/AhSQIxDm54

Today, I spoke at the ribbon cutting for @capitalcc_ct’s L.E.A.D. Center. @DrGDuncanHarris and the team did a great job building a space to support students and drive workforce development in the region. Dr. Harris even kept it together when I accidentally stole his script 😬

@tunxiscc CEO, Darryl Reome, has great taste in clothes! We wore matching suits and shirts today at a statewide CEO/President meeting. The overriding theme of the meeting was student success efforts in the state. #studentsuccess #connecticutcommunitycolleges

Just left the ribbon cutting for the new cutting edge Grasso Tech HS facility. Our own Dr. Mary Ellen Jukoski from TRCC spoke about our Manufacturing Apprenticeship Program imbedded there! The partnership will support day and evening adult and traditional aged students. #trcc

Just finished attending a great forum with Governor Lamont and Education Commissioner Cardona, and students about the future of education in CT. A clear focus on improving completion rates for students of color was exciting to hear. @GovNedLamont @teachcardona

This morning, I was able to meet with leaders from CT’s four Workfroce Investment Boards (WIBs) to discuss how we can work together to support workforce growth in areas like manufacturing, healthcare and information technology. https://t.co/auLKlGpNBW

It was great attending convocations at four of my colleges today. All of the colleges have joined Achieving the Dream to improve student success and I heard great messages centering on this important work. It’s going to be an exciting year! #mxcc #mcc #qvcc #trcc #atd

@Mona_Dolton I’m glad you asked! You must start my favorite murder immediately (you can usually fast forward through the first 15 min). If you haven’t listened to it, Serial is everyone’s starter podcast. Dr Death and Presidential round out my top options.
