Had a client ask a fair question today:
"If my site has 300 pages, do you really think 10GB of bandwidth is enough?"
The recent pricing changes are getting harder and harder to justify to clients.
...has done has left many of searching for new platforms and new ways to meet client websites.
Webflow released tons of updates 90% of which most clients dont need or want. Meanwhile they features they request Webflow is not giving us developers.
One thing I think Webflow has lost sight of is that us developers are its biggest sales team.
We're the ones recommending Webflow to clients, building on it every day, training teams, solving problems, and supporting customers. If the platform stops meeting developer needs, ...
...we start looking at alternatives.
Most clients don't come to me saying "it must be Webflow." They come looking for the best solution. Webflow is often the recommendation because of what it enables us to do.
Ignoring developers - which is what many of us feel Webflow...
@FinlaysonConnor@relume_io@finsweet@memberstack Webflow for me hasn't get up with demands of real world clients. Almost every build a client will go - can we get, X, Y and Z done - me: sorry Webflow can't do that...still
Meanwhile Webflow does updates 9/10 clients never use.
@FPetet Dont get me started on the rudeness. My wife and I leaving Bali once waiting line immigration to exit, a group them hip and shoulders her knocked her over and barge past...my reaction almost started a world war
