Last night vs Montreal Samuel Ersson made a save where he literally gobbled up the puck. It led to a prolonged TSA style pat-down. You can't have two pucks on the surface so the search went on until the puck was eventually located.

Another thought, the Flyers are in the hunt for a 1C. That ain't gonna be cheap. So, in my opinion, if they allow Zegras to break the TK ceiling, which they shouldn't, they'll end up paying even more for the 1C they hope to find. Everything is relative.

@Raiderfrank65 @jmatthewsreed Yea, I'm not totally disagreeing with you, like I said I wish they had another year to evaluate but that's not how it goes. ...One thing about him is he works hard, he's not one of those guys who coasts through practice because he has a natural gift to get by on. We'll see

@Raiderfrank65 @jmatthewsreed You're not being a jerk, just saying what you think. It would have been ideal to see two seasons before making the decision but that was all part of the deal from the start. He's got great hands, killer in the shootout, but still needs maturing overall sure.

@PhakePhlex If somebody pops up I don't see how they can't take a shot at it. You look at this past January when Vladar was out. .....but Vladar lost the last two before injury and the first two after so that doesn't tell the whole story either.

You want to lock Zegras in right? TK just signed at 8 years at 8.75 and he's been their top scorer 3 years running so how to you justify asking for more? -It was a rough year in Lehigh. Kolosov 15-21-2, 2.98 GAA .895 SV%. Bjarnason 3.43 GAA .877 SV%. Flyers need a solid backup.

@VirgilKaneikk9 I believe it may be time. He's a great guy and a popular teammate but he can't come out like he did last season. I loved my mom she was awesome but the could not stop a puck.

@PhakePhlex Ersson was dialed in down the stretch but he can't come out like he did last season. Everybody loves him including me, great guy, but if he has another shaky start what do you do? Lehigh Valley had a rough year between the pipes.
