There’s quite a bit in that story that doesn’t line up with my (informed) sense at the time. Grizzlies players, especially Ja, were very supportive of Iisalo becoming the full time head coach.

I generally think we should give coaches more time. College football as the prime example, some great coaches were fired for a little slump, but you GOTTA be able to adjust. Love seeing Ced’s minutes go up, but almost nothing else has changed.

Grizz are 8 games into the season, and we’ve lost 2 maybe 3 games that we could have won. At some point fans need to relax and give people time to work things out. Sometimes you hate someone and 6 months later, you’re close - sometimes not. But let’s wait more than 2 weeks.
