Alot of these are more High End country club rules. Especially #4, probably under 10% of GCs even have locker rooms, and less than that enforce that rule... On #2 alot of the guys I play with regularly are business owners, doctors, and executives, some times there is just not a choice.
So have this is makimg money, another example of the internet being wrong. This movie was great with a great John Williams score, great performances, and the last 15 min actually made me feel something which is rare. If you saw it and hated it thats fair if you are only going by the rage bate clickfarmers then you are missing out #disclosureday
Dang it Phil... I want to like you, on the golf course you are one of the most electric, fun, engaging players ever. Easily the 2nd best of your generation. I am usually for not worrying about what happens outside of the game, movie, whatever I am watching, Peoples personal lives, politics, whatever is their business but... man its gotten to hard and this is just to much (if true of course).
Exclusive: Phil Mickelson is no longer a member at The Farms Golf Club outside San Diego after a female club employee accused the six-time major champion of inappropriate contact with her before a round of golf earlier this spring.

Lots of these posts today, like a ton
..It will be good or it won't, but every movie everyone turns into a studio accountant now. Is it 2x... 2.5x, how much does the studio get in Budapest... just watch the movie or dont.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
The SUPERGIRL box office framing is getting really weird.
Deadline says SUPERGIRL cost $175M net and has a $315M global break-even point “before global P&A spend.”
That last part is doing a lot of work.
Because when THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU had a reported budget around $165M, we kept hearing it needed $500M–$600M worldwide to be in the black once marketing and everything else got factored in.
But now SUPERGIRL is somehow being framed around a much cleaner $315M number before global ad spend.
Come on.
I actually do not think marketing should always be dumped into these public break-even conversations the way people use it online. P&A is deductible, studios account for it differently, and the real math is always messier than “budget times 2.5.”
But be consistent.
If one movie needs to clear half a billion because marketing exists, then you cannot turn around and pretend another $175M superhero movie only needs $315M before marketing because that sounds better.
This feels like Deadline running cover.
SUPERGIRL might still be fine. It might leg out. It might find an audience. I genuinely hope it does.
But the box office narrative is already being softened before the movie even opens.
That usually tells you somebody (James Gunn) is nervous.
I give up @hghlnder72 .. lol.. probably blocked myself
Agree the R1 is the best of the Disney era... fair to wait till streaming, its likely what most are doing because it is a streaming product and should of stayed there. Keep your expectations at a fun adventure and not a numbered sw movie level you might just have fun with it.
@RobAylor not blocked, weird...the last good Star Wars movie for me was Rogue One, Force Awakens had its moments but TLJ and RoS just absolutely killed anything TFA set up. I will catch this one when on streaming in a month because its already tanking behind two independant horror films.
@hghlnder72 Still doing it, idk, you probably blocked me 🤣
The movie is very in line with season 1 and 2 and basically abandons all the story threads from season 3. Season 3 they were trying to build out a wider universe, this movie definitely does not. I think it was a mistake to release in theaters, it should have stayed streaming but not because I think its bad, thats just where the audience is for it.
People have been saying Star Wars is dead almost our entire lives, before Disney even bought it things like "the people vs George Lucas" was coming out. Cine scores and Audience reviews are still very high which means there is still a core base of fans. Animated Shows like Maul and the Jedi Survivor games are still doing really well. We will see how Starfighter does.
@RobAylor weird you cant reply, but i think people that care about movies are enjoying flops by studios that have ignored the fans for too long. the first and most of the 2nd season of Mando were great but then it forgot who the mandalorian character is.
For some reason it wont let me reply @hghlnder72 but This was not about Mando, but imo its the 2nd best movie of the Disney era, I already explained why but this is more about the culture of enjoying the failure. Its become some people's whole identity, being anti things instead of for things.
@RobAylor I applaud movies that succeed, Project Hail Mary for example is absolutely my number 1 movie....in years...however after watching the fall of the Mandalorian show, Mando and Grogu did NOT need to be made. Everything ive heard about it confirms this. Star Wars is dead man. sucks.
Saying something "flopped" has become more entertaining to people then when something succeeds, we have become a world that cheers for failure and are disappointed and defensive when something succeeds. Its completely backwards and truly sad.
I enjoyed it... I know that seems to be the "wrong" answer... but, I did not go in expecting anything more than another adventure with these two that I have come to care about and that is what I got. A self contained, simple, fun, father and son story. Go see The Mandalorian and Grogu expecting that, dont try to make it something its not and you will probably have a good time.
You are again making an assumption only based on the accusers statement... ask any cop how reliable these statements are, people are always going to give you the version that makes them look the best... the fact he plead not guilty shows there is going to be another version of event, its highly likely that version is going to include some sort of perceived threat, if you, I, a judge, a jury buy or not is to be seen but maybe.... just maybe wait until you know what it is before branding him a violent criminal. just a thought
But you are adding context not there. The point is you dont know, if he punched the guy then the cops are going to arrest Arrest does not equal guilt.
Throwing a random childish insult, sure... now... if you aggressively said that TO my mother infront of me then we would have problems. You are now a threat and will be treated as such.
Maybe hot take: the people yelling random movie lines at the PGA Championship should be kicked out and banned for life. It was funny the first like 2 times someone yelled "give me back my son" now its just annoying.
I have a crazy theory: Bryson DeChambeau is Ricky Vaughn from Major League II.
In the first movie, Vaughn was “Wild Thing” — abrasive, wild, raw, and uncomfortable. But that edge is what made him great.
Then expectations hit. Image. Money. People around him trying to polish him up. He lost the thing that made him dangerous.
That feels like Bryson right now.
He is at his best when he is the boundary-pushing rebel. The guy who annoys people, tests limits, and does things his own way.
This crafted, money-hungry, overly managed version of Bryson is killing his edge.
@AB48420889@IamDijami I'm taking Messi IF the Goalie knows your life is on the line because unless they find one that is a psycho they are not blocking lol. Otherwise I am taking Tiger, 85% on 6 footers in his prime and no one is better when it matters most.
