When one of Brian Clough's players got concussed, the physio came over and told him the player didn't know who he was.
Clough, full of sympathy, told him to tell the lad he was Pele and get back on the pitch 😂😂
Shaun Murphy: “Stephen, if you’re sat in Jack Jones’s chair tonight, what are you saying to him?”
Stephen Hendry: “To be honest, I’m usually more in Kyren’s position, being five frames ahead.” 😂
@PhilHay_ Too late now, real shame . Hearts deserved the title .I hope they keep all their players and win it next season, but I am afraid the bird has flown.
Pep Guardiola is one of only two managers in English top-flight history to manage in 10 seasons and finish in the top-four each season.
The other? Don Revie with Leeds United between 1964-65 and 1973-74. #lufc
@saintspins Leeds didn't break the rules because at the time, there was no rule .Leeds just forced it to be made. Also you haven't lost 200 million because you never had 200 million . It's a little bit condescending to just dismiss Hull.
Anyone sympathising with @SouthamptonFC players should watch the example set by their captain, Taylor Harwood-Bellis after defeating @Boro in the play-off semi-final, second leg. Now that’s karma

A UK jury has refused to convict the two Muslim men involved in the 2024 Manchester Airport police assault.
You can be Muslim in the UK, beat police officers, and walk free, but if you are a White kid, you will be arrested while you bleed out.
Many people in the UK were shaken by the senseless murder of Wayne Broadhurst, stabbed to death while walking his dog. But you’ve never even said his name.
At some point, those running Southampton are going to have show proper accountability and some humility. Apologise to their fans, and reimburse them their Wembley expenses. Apologise to the clubs they spied on. And take their medicine. Then clear out those who sanctioned the spying. Only then can Southampton start rebuilding their damaged reputation.
They may well be waiting until after the appeal before making a statement and a proper show of contrition. But extended silence simply deepens the stain on the club's reputation. (Even a holding statement would have been something). It's not fair on their fans, the ones who will still be there long after current coaches, players, sporting directors and owners have moved on.
Southampton were traditionally one of the most-respected clubs in the game. Good support, developed players, attractive football. Saints. Not now. Not until there’s full accountability, publicly. Silence only adds to the shame. Pity. Good club but badly led on this. #SaintsFC
Sweden got rid of VAR.
They heard what everyone connected with the sport had to say about it and ruled, "OK. It's gone."
That will NEVER happen here because the bureaucratic ruling football hierarchy pretend they can't hear what paying public think.
We don't matter.
Bravo Sweden
Farke on fans chanting his name: “Not so much that but seeing everyone chanting with joy. This fan base is the best in football. It’s the most important asset. 2nd to none in world football. I’m so pleased to give joy & pride back. Long may it continue.” #LUFC
Tommy Robinson speaking at the Unite The Kingdom event in London today. Many more Brits need to wake up and vote. Look at Reforms results lately and many in the crowd see Rupert Lowes Restore Britain as a key favourite. What a turnout 🇬🇧
