Some who deconstruct their faith feel forsaken by God and the Church. I'm sorry you've faced those painful experiences. But, you're in good company because Jesus experienced that too (Psalm 22). There's a healthy way through.
Naming a protocol after yourself is a sure fire way to limit its half life. Naming a tool or protocol after the process and/or end point is the right thing to do, if your goal is to allow the greatest number of people access to that tool. Language that obscures, limits.
“Rather than completely upending established patterns, the pandemic accelerated ongoing trends in religious change..." Young people didn't come back to church. Church leaders have seen this coming. It's time to ask a whole new set of questions.
