Labour and Conservative governments have brought Britain to the edge of bankruptcy, losing control of public spending and failing to deliver any meaningful economic growth.

They aren’t.

A £500k EV Ferrari would generate a MAXIMUM £125k Corporation Tax reduction through First Year Allowances.

But the bit he conveniently ignores is the £83,333 VAT paid straight to HMRC, which can’t be reclaimed on company cars due to private use rules.

So the actual net reduction in Treasury income in this example is closer to £41k, not “£125k gifted by taxpayers.”

And that’s before considering the company has just spent HALF A MILLION POUNDS into the economy, generating PAYE, NI, VAT, BIK tax and Corporation Tax throughout the supply chain.

Also, this isn’t some “EV loophole.”

Capital allowances exist across the economy for vans, machinery, tools, factory equipment, IT systems and countless other business assets.

That’s simply how business taxation works.
