No. But honesty requires saying the road back is longer than most people want to hear.

The window for preventing the scale of demographic and institutional change that has already occurred closed some years ago. That's not defeatism. It's arithmetic. You cannot undo thirty years of transformation in one parliament, and no government is going to forcibly reverse what has already happened. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.

What remains possible is stopping further change, and That's not a small thing. Close the border properly. Remove those with no right to be here. Leave the ECHR and replace it with a British framework. Dismantle the legal aid pipeline that funds the appeals system. Reform the judicial appointments process. Rebuild the curriculum. Demand integration rather than celebrating separation. These are achievable. None of them are easy and all of them require a government with the mandate, the majority and the nerve to absorb sustained institutional resistance across an entire parliament.

The most important thing anyone can do right now is refuse to be silenced. The institutional consensus depends on the majority accepting that its concerns are illegitimate. Every time someone publishes, speaks, votes or simply refuses to pretend they cannot see what they can see, the consensus is weakened. It was built in the dark. It doesn't survive the light as well as its architects intended. That's why the social media bans, the incendiary content legislation and the BBC prioritisation are all happening simultaneously. The conversation is the threat. Keep having it.
