Let me clarify last posting since I was asked. I can work on anything Nside the dryer even though it is 220 vac. I've changed many pig tie cords on them. I'm just not allowed 2 service plug outlets or anything house wiring related since I'm not a licenced journeyman electrician

Glad 2 have dryer back up. Can't take credit. When compressor went out on a/c, it also took out part of main breaker. We were only running half-phase 120 vac stead of 220 vac full phase. Had 2 Nvolve electricians N this since I'm not licensed 2 work on anything above 120 vac

Burning up is something I'm used 2. Did it 4 45 yrs hauling my late dad's music equipment N & out of gigs. Did it when I used 2 have spend summers down @ my grandparents just outside Shelby, NC working their farm. As dad used 2 say, "A/C is a luxury we can't afford."

Got 2 turn my PC back on 2day, but also had 2 surrender my portable A/C so that another building could stay cool since their HVAC unit went out. Don't care about burning up or sweating my arse off. I'll do my part, but @ least Mom still has her unit. All is not lost yet.

Mom & I R having 2 stay off PC's 4 next few days. Not enough juice 2 pwr them & 2 portable A/C units. Already took out Control Panel on dryer. Just something else I'll have 2 fix. All b/c compressor went out on main A/C unit. Nside unit also has 2 B replaced due 2 bad condenser
