Come along and say hi π
I work for WWE but watch a lot of wrestling worldwide. This goes for all wrestlers in all companies. I have worked in Wrestling for 42 years. An observation. We are portraying trained pro fighters with instincts ( even comedy bouts). If you donβt win you would make less money in the story weβre telling. Every TV bout , if thereβs a pin, the cameras focus in. Please pin and kick out like your life and career depend on it. In story, it does. Iβve also been a part of knowing most talent since the 2000βs in many companies. As time goes by younger talent copy their favourite of film. I recently watch AJ Styles v Amazing Red from the early 2000βs. I see how many people copied them. What I saw was every pin was aggressively applied and shoulders covered and stacked. Every kick out they kicked out like their life depended on it. Something has been lost in the last 20 + years. Letβs not insult the intelligence of our audience who are giving us their precious time. In a fight scene in a movie ( which is what wrestling is) we know the punches donβt really hit but if we saw that we would eventually stop watching it. Your audience and fans deserve better. If you canβt be uncomfortable for a few seconds being stacked up in a pin, maybe this isnβt for you.
"We are professionals who give a sh*t!"
EXCLUSIVE: After an emotional night in honor of @BastardPAC, AEW Continental Champion @JonMoxley thanked the Pittsburgh crowd, reflected on our fallen friend, Ben, and shared one of his favorite lines from our Bastard. We love you, Ben. π€
A lot of people probably donβt realise quite how special of a talent PAC was.
This video was legendary when I was starting out. He was a teenager in a field in Newport doing this stuff.
I feel so lucky to have seen his career unfold how it did. World class from the very start
What an awful loss.
I ran into Ben at a restaurant near Nashville Airport a few weeks ago. I am so grateful that happened now. It was so good to see him. We were reminiscing about the first time we connected on MSN messenger(!) over 20 years ago, and what a ride it had been since then. He wished me luck for my match at Summerslam, and I told him he was still the best. We both had silly grins on our face from being genuinely surprised and happy to have bumped into each other. That will be how I remember him; just the nicest, most humble man despite being objectively the most talented in ring performer of our generation, perhaps ever.
I spent last night talking to people who knew Ben and loved him. There are many. My prayers and condolences to his family and loved ones. He was the best of us.
God Speed PAC.

Benβs wife deserves prayers and privacy. Speculation is routed in evil.. Ben was a good man, if you ever enjoyed a moment of watching him, do the man the courtesy of respecting his wifeβs privacy and let him rest in peace. Ben was a good man who deserves as much.
Saddened to hear about the death of Ben Satterley known in @WWE as Neville. I had the pleasure of working with Ben in the early days of @WWENXT. This moment, from NXT Arrival, marked the beginning of a new era for that brand and the men and women on it β¦ and Ben was a major force behind that. He was an extraordinary talent and even kinder human being. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans across the world.
Incredibly sad news.
We were honoured to welcome Benjamin and his family to St. Jamesβ Park in 2014 and we offer our deepest sympathies to them and all those who loved him.
Forever a Geordie π€π€
An absolutely amazing performer and just as amazing human being. We shook hands before the show in the hallway at arena briefly last night & we smirked at each other as we both giggledβ¦Iβll remember that forever. He was the best.
Prayers & condolences to Benβs family.
Benjamin Satterley defined excellence, as a beloved husband & friend to his many loved ones, + in his wrestling knowledge, skill, unprecedented athleticism, professionalism, consistency + dedication to the sport that he loved & traveled the world to pursue. May Ben rest in peace.
