This seems like positive incremental negotiation. The US position is undeniably improved. We went from gifting them billions, to agreement to for resource rights. More importantly a step towards peace. The only thing we’re giving up, we were already providing. No one is obligated to perform and there’s no recourse, but an initial written agreement like this is a win for everyone.
They should do it like a class action suit where you have to opt-in.
The opt-in should require acknowledgment that the funds are coming from DOGE cutting the massive waste and fraud from the federal government thanks to Trump and Musk.
The less people that opt-in the more is given to those that do.
Government waste and fraud are not hypothetical. It’s the rule, not the exception. It’s been that way for thousands of years.
Every one who spends more than 2 minutes looking into it knows this. Trying to pretend it doesn’t exist means you’re either lying or incompetent. Neither inspires trust.

@SMB_Attorney I would be wiling to bet 95%+ of people would come out far ahead. But only if they could actually invest the premiums conservatively to fund outlier expenses in the future.

Also, I really respect your ability to openly hold two positions most would assume to be in conflict.
There are so many people voicing market “opinions” in the media.
It’s pretty much meaningless without seeing their actual financial decisions.
