Major cheat code for life: Assume good things are still ahead. You are not behind. You are not too late. You are not disqualified by your past. One new season can change the entire story. Keep showing up with belief. The best chapters are often written after the hardest ones.
Jalen Brunson (@jalenbrunson1) with an all timer for the haters at the @nyknicks parade:
Success is the only revenge that matters.
Because as you grow, their criticism just fades into irrelevance.
As your impact gets louder, nobody can hear their opinions.
You don't defeat your detractors by arguing with them, you build something so massively impactful that they disappear in its shadow.
Because there's no greater waste of time than seeking validation from people living a life you wouldn't trade for anyways.
"It's over!
It's over
Knick fans
This is not a dream
Your long long wait has ended
Go ahead and cry
After 53 years
The Knicks are finally
NBA champions once again"
–– Mike Breen
I can remember, when I was growing up, that Italian teams used to get battered in the media for the “dark arts”, time-wasting, play acting, putting up a wall once they were 1-0 up, negative, defensive attitude and so on. Now it’s “organised and well-drilled” apparently.
@Rahulvn5 Well we can’t afford to as we chose to give Spalletti a multi year contract before achieving anything. So we are stuck with mediocre players and a mediocre coach
🚨🔴⚫️ AC Milan have sacked all key figures at the club after missing UCL qualification.
❌ Massimiliano Allegri
❌ CEO Giorgio Furlani
❌ Director Igli Tare
❌ Head of Scouting Geoffrey Moncada
@TheFJEN@NOSsport Given the hefty price tag, easily among the club’s worst ever signings. Ridiculous to talk about systems when you have failed in every system and position in which you have played.
30 years of trying to cook things and I'm sick of the lies. The onions will never turn golden brown. The egg-whites will never form snowy peaks. The tomatoes will never reduce to a rich sauce. Why do we tolerate this eternal culinary gaslighting?
Adult friendships require a lot of understanding. People go to work. People are busy. People are healing. People are growing. People are taking time for self care just like you. Do not mistake less communication for less love.
HR is the only department that gets a free pass for being completely useless.
They produce zero revenue, kill morale with endless policies, protect the company NOT you, and somehow still get invited to every meeting like they're essential.
Remove 90% of HR tomorrow and the business would run smoother, faster, and happier.
Change my mind. 🔥
@juvefcdotcom Shameful but not surprising. Mediocre squad = mediocre results. Blaming Tudor is pointless. There is NO coach that can get results with Kelly, Kalulu, McKennie, Koopmeiners, Rugani etc.
⚫️⚪️ Curva Sud and their message to Allegri:
The build-up to Juventus-Milan obviously begins with Mister Allegri, who returns to Turin as an opponent.
But let’s say it openly, he will never truly be an opponent.
He’ll always be one of us, even if on the other side of the barricade.
Because Allegri divided opinion so much for his idea of football—not always spectacular, but always concrete.
Certain numbers will remain forever: 5 league titles, as many Italian Cups, 2 Super Cups, and unforgettable European nights.
A tremendous worker who arrived on the ashes left by Antonio Conte, who viewed Juventus as a club with €10 in its wallet that couldn’t afford a €100 restaurant, yet Allegri took us all the way to Berlin.
He was criticized for relying on Conte’s work, yet he built a new, formidable team that took us within a step of the dream in Cardiff.
Not only did he deliver the first cycle of success, but he also managed that boiling-hot bench nobody wanted to sit on, with a club in chaos, a Juventus in the middle of a storm that, despite everything—penalties, changes in management, and absent directors—still managed to endure.
He led Juve to lift another Italian Cup.
Not just all this, but also the class with which he defended Juventus against attacks from outside, including the refereeing scandals during the Italian Cup Final and his memorable showdown with Rocchi.
Critics will say he made a lot of money—rightly so, because he’s a professional. And what a professional.
The cover image sums up how much Allegri loved us, sitting on the advertising board, enjoying his last time with his wonderful fans celebrating the trophy won.
An UNWORTHY club denied him the chance for a fitting embrace from the Juventus family. But soon the day will come when the Mister returns.
Because, even if you didn’t always entertain us…
HOW MUCH JOY YOU GAVE US, MISTER!!!
Welcome home, Massimiliano Allegri… ♥️♥️
