@markmartin Could you tell us realistic horsepower from each era? Earlier 90s? Late 90s? Early 2000s? Late 2000s? Etc. I’ve heard various numbers. Some figures in 2007 at 1000 hp.
@markmartin What’s your thoughts on Chase Elliott’s comments on the cup car and heat issues. https://t.co/thqy9t5de4 my personal opinion. Chase doesn’t complain he states facts. He was raised n a stock car family. He takes pride in being tough and not falling out of the seat
@JebBurtonRacing You’re a truck guy. Get sponsors that fit you. Sponsors like hunting, farming, and land management examples… Carhartt, Sitka, Scent Blocker, Realtree, Case/Bobcat, muddzy broadheads, Ruger firearms, Winchester.Kick butt Go sign a truck deal win races win championships…..
@markmartin Do u see the Cars Tour evolving as a successor to the ASA tour legacy? I remember ASA tour following in the 80s early 90s was huge especially in the Midwest. I’d love to see the Cars tour replicate that type of fan base. Worried about big brother NASCAR jealousy
@markmartin@markmartin NASCAR offered to run what you brung rules for the All Star Event? Hamlin, Harvick, and DaleJr all thought it was ridiculous. What is ur opinion? Mine is this might be signs of the straw that broke the camels back. The end of any semblance of racing.
In the golden age of NASCAR the sport would never consider compromising RACING for entertainment. The racing was entertaining to the fans and there was no need to try and attract people who had no interest in cars and car racing. The sport was BIG enough! Bigger than it is now.
