From @JAMAInternalMed: #RotatorCuff abnormalities on #MRI were found in 99% of adults aged 41 to 76, including 96% of asymptomatic shoulders, indicating most findings are age-related rather than disease.

Before saying we NEED dynamometers in practice we need to answer:
1. Does strength mediate recovery?
aka: if you don't get stronger it is much less likely your pain and function will improve 1/
Clinical Researchers are failing Clinicians.
Sometimes, more research is not needed. My response to a well-done meta analysis with (in my opinion) the wrong interpretation in @JOSPT.

Happy with my pace and to bring it home in 10th place even if it was through gritted teeth 😣 Big thanks to @Mar_trainRacing and @OfficialBSB physios for all their help 🙏 Rest & recover, see what we can do tomorrow 👍🏼
@KThorborg@CorKinetic I agree with what you say. Evidence-based medicine takes a backseat when there are economic interests and often a lot of ignorance involved. A real shame to see how patients are treated…

Out of 30 studies (204 models), only 2 studies (2 models) were low RoB. None were recommended for further validation/use. So much is needed in sport concerning proper methods/education in prediction
ASAIK, risk factors for injuries r not always causal. The fact some r modifiable doesn’t imply that you can change the risk by modifying them (as implied in most study conclusions). Unless your study supports their causal role (rare). #epi experts please correct me if I am wrong.
