@SKinnock@theipaper We paid Β£2000 a month for a (shared room) care home place, unless you do something like bring care into the NHS (or at least under state control) this will put up prices even more. We had to do this as the hospital refused to allow him to go home after a fall.
Shan is doing a half Ironman for this. I think she's crazy but it's a really good cause. Alzheimer's is a hideous thing as anyone who has come across it knows.
@SKinnock How much money is being syphoned out of the system for private profit? My fathers dementia care cost us Β£2000 a month for a shared room, it's disgraceful.
@SKinnock I have an NHS dentist, in the last couple of years I have had to pull 2 of my teeth out myself and even use a file after breaking a tooth because it is so hard to get an NHS dentist appointment. Plenty of private appointments though.
@NationCymru I work 2.5 miles from where I live, to get there on buses means two buses from two seperate companies, takes over half an hour and means I will arrive late. I can cycle it in 15 minutes and drive it in less than 10 minutes.
@WelshRugbyUnion Well, that was embarrassing. The Six Nations needs relegation, Wales need to start winning games and I can't see it happening in this tournament.
@ukhomeoffice 500k views and 300 likes, your Reform level racism isn't going down very well. Equating foreign criminals with migrants is disgraceful, and the only reason they're illegal is because you don't provide safe legal routes. Vile post.
@JujuliaGrace I strongly believe you will have a lot more supporters than haters, and on those dark days just try to focus on that. Oh, and good luck, it needs to be done.
@NationCymru@WildsmithBen I don't. I earn less than the national average and am worse off than I was a year ago, and going to get worse off again by the look of it. I'm most worried about the rise of Reform.
@SKinnock My bills have gone up by way more than Β£150 since you got elected and you froze tax thresholds, so even though I earn well below the national average I will be worse off.
