On just the rumor that India may step in to buy #urea early and Russia fears:
Egypt urea paper trades $125 HIGHER than yesterday settlement
NOLA urea physical trades $570 which is $85 HIGHER than yesterday.
I'm too old for this shi.....
WATCH RUSSIA.
Why from a #fertilizer perspective?
Russia exports #nitrogen.
Russia exports #phosphate.
Russia exports #potash.
This is more important to ag than you might know...
Slow day on the NOLA #fertilizer markets.
Unfortunately, not so slow for some Brazilian buyers. Reports coming out that some fertilizer deliveries have been cancelled by suppliers.
No further details but sure seems to be a sign of the fertilizer times....
I'm trying to enjoy this and yet the nitrogen market is BLOWING UP.
Now 3 companies that have reduced/stopped nitrogen production in Europe. More announcements likely to come.
Added to the mix is some believing US nat gas prices may go to double digits.
Hold on tight...
While the prompt #urea premium is starting to fall off after the hurricane, the overall market continues to show strength with November and December paper trading $20 higher than yesterday settlement.
Egypt continues selling higher and India should announce any day.
Since the #phosphate counter vailing duty case was announced late June, DAP barge values are $175 higher and MAP over $200 higher.
Big chunk is due to global supply tightness but messed up global trade patterns as well an big demand due to high grain prices didn't help.
Yep, another day, another double digit gain by a fertilizer product.
#DAP forwards are showing big gains again today. February has now traded $12.50 higher than yesterdays settlement price. March is up $5.50.
Big spring demand + low available quantities = higher prices....
Over the weekend our grain elevator was broken into. Here are pics from our security camera. Hopefully someone can recognize these kids so we can let the local authorities know. DM me if you have any info, thanks.
Today we remember the #HumboldtBroncos crash and the families whose lives changed forever. One of the survivors was Layne Matechuk, son of a Nutrien employee. Today in Regina he gave the STARS crew who took care of him a donation to cover his flight. #Inspiration#HumboldtStrong
