@ToffeeTVEFC No. Well stocked in that position. He had a handful of good games for us before his form dipped just before he got injured. Doesn't dovetail with Mykolenko. Is way past his best, on the decline. Fee/wages astronomical.
@WatchedToffee@grandoldteam@bbcmerseysport@GiuliaBould Precisely. It's a venue to these bellends, and Everton just happen to be the primary leaseholder. Just surprised it hasn't got a "Home of Rugby" sign outside somewhere.
@DrDJWilde@Tony_Scott11 I'm not defending Dyche. Everton should never have been in the position of appointing crabs like him and/or Allardyce/Benitez. As for Moyes - he's been a manager for over two decades and the sum total of his achievements is scraping a shite Intertoto Cup with West Ham.
@DrDJWilde@Tony_Scott11 Not at all. Worse than Benitez and Mike Walker though? Clearly not. And it's probably fair to say that if he'd been given ยฃ130M to spend he'd have had Everton higher than 13th, notwithstanding how tedious it may have been to watch.
@ian_davey8922@Tony_Scott11 It was not in any way a defence of Dyche. The best thing you can say about Moyes is that he's actually less conservative than Dyche. But it is very marginal, as borne out by his record this season. I reckon maybe half a dozen decent performances across the entire season. Garbage
@Tony_Scott11@mikewilliams_40 Sunderland finished 16th in the Championship exactly two years ago. They finished 4th in the Championship one year ago. It took them one transfer window to leapfrog Everton. Your argument is weaker than Moyes' will to try something bold or adventurous. Man is an utter shithouse
@1matthewburgess@themkjones@MattJFootball Out of the league cup to the *reserve side* of the worst PL side for a generation, out of the FA Cup to a promoted side, league record identical to the previous season in every regard, a first XI that needs ripping up and we have sycophants trolling us that we've seen progress ๐
@MattJFootball@Benjwinst The CEO is clearly another fucking appalling appointment though, isn't that the overarching point? Moshiri showed us who he was when he spoke of voodoo dolls at the Phil, and Kinnear has demonstrated his credibility with almost everything he's said since arriving. Utter charlatan

Looks like two shite seasons to me, more or less identical in every aspect. The football remains appalling to watch, first XI still needs ripping up. Progress ๐
@MattJFootball@grandoldteam Still, we can imagine the questions to Moyes after the game will focus on how hard the slog has been this season for the players, and how uniquely hot it was for Everton's players.
