🚨 BOMBSHELL! Senator Bernie Sanders exposes the massive AI scam. He confirms big tech oligarchs literally stole humanity's collective knowledge, art, and research to build models without permission.
The elite class is executing the greatest wealth theft in human history!
Are you in favour of expelling Hoekstra US Ambassador supporting Alberta separating from Canada?
If so - keep passing this on - until we get a response from the politicians
This article says climate change is “believed to have played a role” in the UK's extreme heat this week.
As a climate scientist, let me fact-check that.
First, climate change is not a religion. No belief is required. It is about evidence.
And the evidence has been crystal clear for more than two decades: climate change is making heat waves hotter, longer, more frequent and more dangerous.
In fact, science has advanced far beyond saying climate change merely “played a role.” Today, we can quantify how much more likely and how much hotter climate change made a specific event.
Here's the bottom line:
Climate is changing. Humans are responsible. And we are experiencing the impacts now. That’s the bad news.
The good news is that solutions already exist, and the majority of people care - 89%, around the world!
But meaningful action depends on helping people understand not just what is happening: we need to know how it affects our lives (this heat wave being example A today) and what we can do about it.
That’s the opportunity this reporting missed.

This bike lane covered in solar panels in South Korea provides protection from the sun for cyclists, and produces 6 megawatts of electricity per day, enough to power 600 households.

Vote Against Alberta Separation

I love Alberta. I grew up here. Built my life here. Watched my siblings raise their children here. My family built businesses here. My parents taught at the University of Alberta and helped shape generations of students. My grandfather was awarded the Order of Canada for his contributions to this province and played a role in keeping the Edmonton Oilersfrom leaving Edmonton.
I am as Albertan as they come. But I am every bit as proud to be Canadian.
So when I see people trying to convince Albertans that our future lies in separation, I reject it completely. Alberta’s strength has never come from walking away. It has come from building, contributing, fighting to be heard, and helping shape this country into something better.
I will spend every ounce of energy I have defending federalism, defending Canada, and keeping this beautiful province exactly where it belongs: in Canada.
Let’s finally put this tired MAGA fantasy to rest:
the U.S. has never militarily protected Canada — not once, not ever.
Canada has never been invaded by a foreign power in modern history, and we have certainly never asked the U.S. to ride in like some self-appointed saviour.
In fact, the only time American troops showed up on our soil in force was during the War of 1812 (Confederation wasn't even born yet) — when they tried to invade and conquer us and got their asses handed to them by a militia, First Nations warriors, and British forces.
The colonies defended themselves.
And, furthermore to facts, NORAD is a joint defense partnership, NOT American charity.
Yet the MAGA base keeps repeating this crap that “if it wasn’t for us, Canada would be gone.”
No. We never begged for your protection, we never needed it, and we sure as hell don’t owe you for a fantasy scenario that exists only in your heads.
Canada stands on its own.
Always has.

@jackprandelli Well, that's not true for Canada:
60% hydro
17% nuclear
7%. renewables
Gas dominates in AB and SK. Coal in NS.
That's it.
You going to retract your claim or continue spreading misinformation?
What an interesting painting.

This is what local accountability looks like:
In Festus, Missouri, a town of about 14,000 people, the city council quietly approved a $6 billion Ai data center to be built on 360 acres just north of Highway 67.
Residents say they were never properly heard. Meetings were held in private. Documents were released too late. A week after the approval, the town held a regular election. Voter turnout jumped 129 percent.
Every single council member who had voted yes lost in a landslide. A 70-year-old first-time candidate beat an 8-year incumbent by 40 percentage points.
Now a recall petition is circulating to remove the mayor as well. The lawsuit against the city is already filed.
Has your local government ever been held accountable like this? 🔥
Wow. @JHarrisonMLA ordered to apologize to the NDP for his insulting lies during question period today.
No wonder no one takes him seriously as he tries and spin his $26,000,000,000 coal scandal.
“The only democratic solution to this is that what happens to Canada is decided by all Canadians. Not by a group within it.
Or if I can really boil it down: You absolutely have a right to leave this country. It’s a free country. You have a right to leave Canada. You do not have a right to take a piece of it with you.” Well said @acoyne! 🇨🇦 Quote by: Andrew Coyne Canadian columnist.
Arlene Dickinson: "It was so obvious to me once I started to put them together that there is a pattern here that is very troubling, that is very evident, that there are people trying hard to create narrative for separatism, a method for separatism."
