자칭 예멘의 스파이더맨이라 불리던 30살짜리 인플루언서 알 카카(Al-Qaqa)가 화산 분화구 절벽에서 추락사함.
로프도 없고 안전장비 1도 없이 오직 맨손이랑 카메라 달랑 하나 들고 높이 약 120미터짜리 분화구 절벽을 기어오르다가 미끄러짐 ㅎㄷㄷㄷ

진짜 스파이더맨은 거미줄이라도 쏘는데 이 양반이 가진 건 알고리즘 뷰 수밖에 없었음 🪦

미끄러져 떨어진 곳이 하필 분화구 바닥에 있는 펄펄 끓는 유황 호수였음.
구조대가 수심 30미터까지 다이빙해서 겨우 수습했고, 결국 다음 날 시신으로 인양됨.

• 조회수 장사의 비정한 현실
알고리즘은 크리에이터가 살든 죽든 관심 없음.
피드 내리던 손가락 멈추게만 만들면 그만임.
자극적이고 미친 짓일수록 조회수 떡상시켜 판 깔아주고, 판이 커질수록 도파민 중독돼서 스스로 멈추는 게 불가능해짐.

• 플랫폼 비즈니스의 민낯
엑스(구 트위터), 메타 $META, 틱톡 같은 빅테크 알고리즘의 본질은 유저 체류 시간(Retention) 쥐어짜기임.
리스크는 크리에이터가 목숨 걸고 혼자 다 지는데, 플랫폼은 트래픽 꿀 빨고 시청자들은 팝콘 씹으며 좋아요 누름. "다음 미친 도전은 뭐냐"고 부추기던 시청자들도 결국 공범인 셈

손 미끄러져 떨어질 때 좋아요 수는 너를 절대 붙잡아주지 않는다.
목숨값이랑 맞바꿀 만한 조회수는 세상에 없음.

I honestly hope that the French government and the real French citizens get their sh**t together and not let themselves be threatened by these radical, rabid animals. Muslim have no culture except for their religion and in their eyes other people’s culture should be obliterated just like they did in their home countries leaving behind nothing but rubble. My wife is an immigrant. Back in the 80’s an immigrant had to sign a document stating they would not claim, or be eligible to claim, any government benefits they had not paid into. This meant immigrants were by default ‘contributors’ not ‘takers’ like happens so often today. Liberals have learned they can ‘buy’ votes. A sad abuse of power.
