UEFA tournament finals are almost always going to end up with 2 clubs that have large support bases. So why it doesn't employ a "every tournament final will have a minimum 80k capacity " is unfathomable.

Nice idea in principle to have Finals in different cities across the continent but it robs fans of the slim enough opportunity to get a ticket in a ballot ( even with a season ticket), doesn't generate an atmosphere ( some Finals have as little as 4-5 thousand allocations) and to be frank looks amateur in its planning.

If your country doesn't have an 80k stadium, then unfortunately that's tough.

Major finals ( FA take note) should cater for SEASON TICKET holders from both clubs FIRST, and those allocations should be a percentage of the number of season ticket holders. No ifs, no buts, no "Football family" bollocks ( code for day tripping corporates to go to their one game a year), just a lot more real supporters getting the chance to do what they do throughout the season.

Go anywhere and everywhere to support their club.
