Which people? And why does Ronaldo have to come into every Messi conversation π Both are gifted Superstars. One plays for a nation that has superstar power; one does. But each have given their hearts minds and souls to the beautiful game. Just appreciate that!
My goat thrashed Croatia and was narrowly eliminated by Spain. Top teams.
Messi robbed Algeria and Cape Verde, and is now getting humiliated by an African team.
I am struggling to understand where Matiangi comes in on this Ruaraka Land issue.
The CS education is not the accounting officer of the ministry. He does not make any payments. It is the PS who does that work. The PS Education was Belio Kipsang the PS Treasury was Kamau Thugge who is now the Governor of Central Bank.
In any case all land compensation are done by an independent commission the National Land Commission.
Help me find Matiangi in this scandal. Where is he?
@lynn_ngugi1@lynn_ngugi1 do you have a candidate who fits the bill for changing this country? Like, who was your preferred candidate for 2002, 2007, 2013, 2017 and 2022 elections?
@amerix You see in the Holy bible, God had a hard time solving the Egyptian/Israelites injustice. So He got a man(moses) to be raised in the Egyptian kingdom so that later he can solve israelites problems. Sometimes you can change things when you are inside.
For 15 good years, His Excellency Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka remained loyal to His Excellency Raila Odinga. At no point did Kalonzo betray him, even when he was overlooked as the preferred running mate in the 2022 General Election. He stood by him with unwavering loyalty.
It would be unfair and dishonest for the Luo community to overlook the 15 years of steadfast support that Kalonzo gave to Raila Odinga. If Kalonzo never betrayed their leader during his lifetime, why should they now turn their backs on him?
Loyalty should be remembered and rewarded, not forgotten. If Kalonzo stood firm through every political season, why abandon him in favor of Kasongo?
They should have been taken to the morgue (to see the bodies) and brought to attend this funeral. They should have been made to see the results of their hard work!
It is not well. Do those kids in custody really know the pain they caused to these parents? Those terrorists should never taste freedom again. May God be with all the grieving families.πππ
Stop with the fantasy! Wewe unaona Ile bile Uhuru ako nayo against Ruto, unadhani angekua na uwezo angemuacha? Ruto outplayed Uhuru-period!
Rigathi is just an excited political toddler who tried playing with his father's balls...
President William Ruto should forever be grateful to President Uhuru Kenyatta for sparing him. After the Raila - Uhuru handshake it was so easy to impeach Ruto the way he has impeached Rigathi Gachagua, but Uhuru is a man of good heart. He allowed Ruto to be. Lessons learned!
I heard President Ruto promising Tanga people in Tanzania that he would build an oil refinery there. Why wouldn't he do it in Mombasa if it has so many benefits? Mukurwe-ini MP John Kaguchia
He would have just gotten rid of him and replace him with you. When Ruto got tired of Rigathi, he did away with him without a blink...wewe ulikua girlfriend ulikua unangoja Bibi apewe talaka ndo uingie...
Mheshimiwa, I'd like to run for MP in Sotik through ODM. Do you mean to say Bomet should be zoned out to UDA and I lose the chance to be an ODM elected member of parliament from South Rift?
MY OPINION ON THE ISSUE OF ZONING:
It is a question of the principle we are pursuing: are we pursuing a pre election or post election coalition? In a post election arrangement Parties can field candidates as they desire: ODM would field candidates even for Presidency and Deputy. But if what we are pursuing is Pre-election, then the dynamics change. (i) an agreement must be arrived at about the top ticket or head of the ticket. (ii) to gain a majority in Parliament each party just put its energy to focus on its strongholds and allow the other partner to focus on its own without exposing each other to competition that may expose the seat to the opposition: same way the Presidency has been protected from competition. (iii) in certain cases some affirmative action; meaning give and take must be employed to reserve certain areas for a coaltion partner to exclusively field candidates even of its not its strong hold: case examples is how we zoned off the last by election: Magharini, Kasipul, Malava and Mbere North. In 2013, CORD zoned off Bungoma to Ford Kenya even though ODM was the dominant Parry there, Nyanza, Coast, and larger parts of Western were left to ODM. In Nairobi, ODM and Jubilee in 2022 won Majority seats using this approach.
When Parties enter a Coalition they agree to, preserve, reserve or protect the position say Presidency for on Party when the other say gets the Deputy. This is some form of "zoning"; why; if this is not done this way, each party in that coalition is free to field a candidate for President or Deputy and the Coalition will lose. If you go this route, then the idea of a pre election coalition is lost, you then have decided to pursue a post-election not pre-election coalition.
It would be selfish for a party in a coalition to want the Presidency and in our case with UDA even the Deputy Presidency "preserved" "protected" "free from competition" by its partner, while in the process exposing the party sacrificing or preserving or protecting for them the Presidency and DP to competition in the only other seats it has available to ensure it's survival and existence post the coalition.
Zoning is common sense to winning the presidency and being able to govern the country after election.
We either do zoning and field a single candidate for all seats from President to MCA or do it for no seat and allow all parties to field candidates for all seats from President, Governor, MPs and MCAs, and lose!
